R.A.G.E. obtained National lottery cash in order to fund a trial of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Unfortunately the results were not encourging, but the trial gave rise to another trial for those with Lymphoedema. Another trial has involved the use of two established medications and the results are awaited.

Membership of R.A.G.E. may give sufferers a chance to participate in any future trials and perhaps benefit from any new discoveries appropriate to their problems.

Mutual support and empathy are invaluable for those suffering effects of any medical mishap. R.A.G.E., funded only by members' subscriptions and run by those with first hand experience of radiation damage, issue a regular news letter and holds an Annual General Meeting where there are opportunities to hear and express personal views.
