About R.A.G.E.

At the time R.A.G.E. was founded, little information was available concerning possible long term disabling effects of breast cancer. It was also evident that there were no national standards governing the delivery of breast radiotherapy.

It was the publicity surrounding Lady Audrey Ironside's injury and subsiquent quest for acknowledgement and redress which led to the realisation that others had suffered similarly. Lady Ironside continues to serve as president of R.A.G.E. Actress Liz gebhardt, sadly now passed away, was instrumental in organising and hosting early meetings of RAGE starting in 1991.

The founding members of RAGE drew up the four aims and objectives, each of equal importance. each of these aims is strongly endorsed by the rage committee on behalf of it's members.

R.A.G.E. is funded only by members subscription and donations and is run by those with first hand experience of radiation damage. We issue a regular news letter and hold an Annual General Meeting.
